The Access and Eligibility Services Leadership Conference is an immersive, three-day event that will provide vision, inspiration, and actionable training designed to increase leadership effectiveness. The conference will focus on connecting AES leaders to our mission by reaffirming agency values and defining our collective purpose.
This year’s conference theme, “Next Level Leadership: The Power of Us” encourages leaders to have a growth mindset and be intentional about their own development, so they can better serve and develop those around them.
Leslie is the director of the Organizational Engagement and Change Management team. She has focused on the “people” side of change through the application of innovative change management solutions throughout her years with the state. In her current role, she focuses primarily on employee retention through best practices for engagement and change management. Her ultimate goal is successful employee adoption of transformational initiatives.
Leslie holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor's degree in General Business from Sam Houston State University. She is an alumni of the AES Leadership Empowerment and Development Sessions (LEADS) Class of 2018. In addition, she holds a certification in the Prosci® Change Management methodology. In her spare time, she likes to travel and hang out with friends and family (especially for a good happy hour J).
